AN UNUSUAL NAME…When we had to decide on a name for our lodge, it seemed only natural to recognize our parents, Clint and Alida Goodman, founders of our family business, Goodman & Sons Lumber Company. The name “CliAl Lodge” brings to mind the two people who taught us the value of hard work and integrity, and who promoted the philosophy that we continue to practice today, “Treat people as you would want to be treated.”

THE CROWN JEWEL of our property is our 3400 square foot lodge. Designed to accommodate a gathering of up to 60 people, the great room with vaulted ceiling, open kitchen, and bar area offer ample space to mingle with guests or convene a meeting. The gas log fireplace is the icing on the cake for what is already a cozy ambiance.

Need some fresh air? You’re sure to find that the magnificence of the lodge is surpassed only by the natural beauty seen from anywhere on the wraparound spacious porch. With or without binoculars, you’re sure to see a variety of wildlife. Or, without leaving the porch, settle down in a rocking chair or swing and just rest your eyes on the peaceful waters of the Clarks River.

Arrangements downstairs include a king bedroom and a queen bedroom, along with a large private bath. A washer and dryer and a separate mud room off the porch are offered for guest convenience A loft upstairs with a half bath sleeps up to seven people, each with their own twin bed.
